Engineering Technology – Precision Machining

Learn foundational methods of manually measuring, cutting, drilling and molding metal. Then, adapt those skills to CNC machining that uses computer controls to cut the metal. Students develop skills critical in modern manufacturing plants – computerized manufacturing methods, computer-aided drafting and machining skills, material testing and inspection, quality control and team communication.  These skills can lead to new opportunities as material tester, field service technician, quality control manager, estimator, laboratory technician or industrial supervisor.
