  • Handmade work for sale at SC4 Potters Market Nov. 10 to 13

    PORT HURON, Mich. – St. Clair County Community College will present its 14th annual Potters Market from Nov. 10 to 13 on the college’s Port Huron campus.  Potters Market 2015

    The market features hand and pottery wheel pieces created by students, faculty and guest potters and is perfect for holiday shopping.

    The event will be 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10; and noon to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11; Saturday, Nov. 12; and Sunday, Nov. 13, in the SC4 Welcome Center, corner of Erie Street and Glenwood Avenue.

    SC4’s Humanities-Arts Division is sponsoring the event, which encourages students to understand the process of producing work and then developing an outlet for that work.

    Admission is free. Proceeds from the ceramic sales will benefit the artists and the college, with 15% of net proceeds going toward the arts at SC4.
