Computer Information Systems - Networking

Networking student with computer

Wired and wireless networks connect electronic devices, sensors, robots and machines. Self-driving vehicles, smart cities, autonomous systems, telepresence and other emerging technologies depend on reliable, high-speed networks. Network technologies evolve rapidly and so do the threats that they face. Are you up for the challenge?

The CIS Networking program prepares students with the skills needed to manage and secure these networks. The outcomes from several classes are tied to industry certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, Linux+, Project+ and CCNA. An agreement with Eastern Michigan University takes you to the next level by completing an additional year of credits at SC4 before transferring for your bachelor’s degree. "The amount of in-depth teaching is fantastic. It goes a lot deeper than what I expected."
