PORT HURON – Blue Water Area residents interested in free entertainment in July and August can find St. Clair County Community College artists on stages and in galleries in Port Huron and Marine City.
“Our SC4 community of students, faculty, alumni and friends is very engaged in the arts and always looking for more opportunities to connect with larger audiences throughout the region,” said Celeste Skalnek, director of Cultural, College and Alumni Relations. “We look forward to announcing our fall lineup soon as well.”

Now through July 31 – Around the Great Lakes presented by Mary Quintal
SC4 Spiral Gallery at Studio 1219, 1219 Military St., Port Huron
SC4 alumna Mary Quintal will present her watercolors and mixed water media pieces, showcasing her interpretation of the great lakes and surrounding areas.

7 p.m. Friday, July 20 – SC4 Community Choir at Riverside Marina Pavilion

The SC4 Community Choir, directed by Terry Beasley, will appear at the Riverside Pavilion, adjacent to the college on the Black River, for a night of music in downtown Port Huron.
4:45 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4 – Symphonic and Jazz bands at Maritime Days in Marine City
Marine City along Water Street
Join us in downtown Marine City as a part of the annual Maritime Days festivities. The SC4 bands, conducted by Erick Senkmajer, will play a collection of the summertime music, from classics to contemporary hits.
August 4 to 30 – Botanical Boundaries presented by Katie Weatherly
Spiral Gallery at Studio 1219, 1219 Military St., Port Huron
SC4 alumna Katie Weatherly will fill the gallery with her original work, featuring photography and new media.
