Note: All housing rates listed are per person. Registering for housing requires a security deposit of $250 in addition to room rate.

Payment methods

Please pay via one of the following methods:

Students may pay their housing bill using cash, check, money order, or credit card (Visa, Discover, MasterCard). For assistance or to make a payment by phone, please contact the Business Office directly.

Paying Online
To pay your housing bill online, log in to your SC4 Student Portal, then follow these steps:
College Credit Students > Service Center > Student Finance > Make a Payment

Be sure to have your payment method ready. SC4 accepts Visa, Discover, and MasterCard for online payments.

Paying by Phone
Students may pay their housing bill over the phone using a credit card (Visa, Discover, or MasterCard). To make a payment, please contact the SC4 Business Office at (810) 989-5513. Be prepared to provide your student ID number and payment details. For security purposes, payments cannot be processed via voicemail or email.

Nelnet Campus Commerce Payment Plan
Students can break down full housing payments into manageable monthly installments using the Nelnet Campus Commerce Payment Plan. This flexible option helps make college expenses more affordable.

To enroll in a Nelnet payment plan:

  1. Log in to your SC4 Student Portal
  2. Navigate to: College Credit Students > Service Center > Student Finance > Payment Plan
  3. Follow the prompts to set up your plan through Nelnet

Financial Aid and Housing

Many forms of financial aid can be applied toward the cost of on-campus housing, just as they are for tuition and fees. Please note that your financial aid package may be adjusted based on your decision to live on campus, which could result in an increase or decrease in your overall award.
