Associate of General Education

English professor working with her students.

Many students who have decided to work toward a bachelor’s degree choose to start that journey at their local community college. The general education classes that nearly all four-year colleges and universities require for graduation are available at SC4, taught by experienced, caring instructors… and at a fraction of the tuition cost.

The Associate of General Education degree is intended for students who are looking to obtain a general two-year degree. While the AGE is a very flexible degree, it may not meet all of the general education requirements needed when transferring to a four-year college or university. Be sure to meet with an SC4 Academic Advisor to make a plan before choosing this degree option.
