Important housing dates

Fall 2026

• Monday, July 13^th – Last day for residents to cancel their Fall housing contract with full refund. A $500 cancellation fee will be applied for cancelled contracts after this date and prior to move-in.
• Monday, July 20th – Early move-in students must submit signed housing contract by noon (otherwise earliest move-in may be delayed).
• Monday, July 27th – Early move-ins must have Financial Aid completed, enrolled in 12 credits/contacts and a paid off balance with business office/Nelnet plan set up (Otherwise delayed move-in).
• Wednesday, July 29th 9am-4pm – Earliest move-in for approved early arrival students (international students and athletes with mandatory practices), Resident Assistants.
  • Housing Orientations at 4pm (Location will be in your move in email).
• Monday, Aug. 10th, noon – Last day to turn in signed housing contract to move in on time (otherwise resident move-in date may be delayed beyond normal move-in).
• Tuesday, Aug. 11th – Housing Check: Students must have Financial Aid Completed, enrolled in 12 credits/contacts, and a paid off balance with business office/Nelnet plan set up (Otherwise delayed move-in).
• Tuesday, Aug. 11 – Enrollment/FA/BO checks (12 credits, 0 balance) and notifications.
• *Wednesday, Aug. 19th, 9-4pm – Water Street – Move-in day one.(Orientation 4:00pm, location will be in your move-in email).
• *Thursday, Aug. 20th, 9-4pm – HURON Street – Move-in day two. (Orientation 4:00pm, location will be in your move-in email).
• *Friday, Aug. 21st, 9-4pm – BARD Street – Move in Day three. (Orientation 4:00pm, location will be in your move-in email).
• *Friday, Aug. 21st – 7:30pm – Welcome Event Night and Group Housing Photo.
• Monday, Aug. 24th– First day of classes.
• Aug. 24-28th – Last day to add/drop classes.
• Monday, Aug. 24th – Enrollment/FA/BO checks (12 credits, 0 balance) and notifications.
• Monday, Sept.  7th– Labor Day: No classes.
• Monday, Oct 5^th – Early Alert Grades check
  •  Contract Termination Request forms due for Graduation or Transfer School reasons.
• Nov. 25th to Nov. 27th – Thanksgiving break
• Monday, Nov. 30th – Classes resume.
• Friday, Dec. 11th – 24/7 quiet hours begin for finals — no overnight guests allowed through finals.
• Monday, Dec. 14th – First day of finals.
  • Due date for new winter residents to have contract signed and submitted in order to move in on time, otherwise move-in may be delayed.
• Saturday, Dec. 19^th, noon – All non-winter housing residents and non-returners must be moved out.
• Dec. 20^th, 1 p.m. – RA Room Checks.
