Registration remains open for SC4 STEM Fest! We look forward to seeing you from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9 for more than 100 hands-on interactive science, technology, engineering and math exhibits.

In addition to the many experiences that will take place continuously through the Experience Center, Challenger Learning Center, Fine Arts Building, and SC4 Fieldhouse, the timed activities listed below are offered with limited availability and require registration prior to March 8. Registration is open for SC4’s summer semester classes

Make the most of your summer this year by enrolling in a class at St. Clair County Community College. The schedule of classes is available now at www.sc4.edu/schedule.

Nearly 90 unique classes are offered in over 20 disciplines, including art, astronomy, business, health education, history, and welding.

Current students can register via their Service Center accounts. New and returning students should submit a free application for admission at www.sc4.edu/apply.

SC4 to add Men’s Soccer team in Fall 2024

St. Clair County Community College (SC4) is excited to add men’s soccer to its athletic offerings beginning in the 2024-25 academic year. SC4 becomes one of 7 community colleges in Michigan to offer men’s soccer, The Skippers will compete in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association along with Grand Rapids, Jackson, Lake Michigan, Marian University’s Ancilla College, Muskegon and Schoolcraft.

“We are happy to announce the addition of men’s soccer to our athletic department,” SC4 Athletic Director Dale Vos said. “Our women’s soccer program has continued to grow and we are confident the new men’s program will be an outstanding opportunity for those wanting to play at the college level. SC4 looks forward to welcoming new student-athletes from our service area and beyond, including international students.”

The team will play at the Skippers Soccer Field at Morton Park, located along the beautiful St. Clair River at 560 Busha Hwy in Marysville. The complex opened in 2021 and provides a collegiate synthetic turf surface that spans an impressive 75 yards wide by 120 yards long. The facility also includes a 25 x 35-yard Skippers Skills Field and a 4-lane workout track.

The search for a head coach and assistant coaches is underway. Candidates may apply online at www.sc4.edu/jobs.
