SC4 phones

SC4 utilizes Cisco Webex for all phone services. You can access these services using a desk phone on campus or from any device using the Webex app. This allows you to make and receive calls as if using a phone. 

How do I get initial access to Webex? 

New employees receive a Webex account as part of the user account creation process. For full-time faculty and staff, your Webex account information will be shared with you by the Office of Information Technology. For Adjunct instructors, your Webex account information will be shared with you by the division secretary.

How do I set or reset my Webex pin? 

You should start logging into your Webex account settings at https://settings.webex.com to set your voicemail pin.

  1. Select settings
  2. Select calling
  3. Select Voicemail
  4. Select reset Voicemail pin

What is my Webex username and password? 

Webex has been integrated into SC4’s Single Sign-On (SSO) infrastructure. With this, you can use your SC4 email address and current computer password to sign into all Webex applications.

How do I set up my voicemail? 

You can access your voicemail and settings by dialing your full phone number. As soon as the voicemail answers, press *, enter your PIN, and press #. If you are doing this for the first time, you need to record your name.

To record a greeting use option 3, which is the “no-answer greeting.”

How do I change my voicemail pin? 

Log into your Webex account settings at https://settings.webex.com there, you can change your voicemail pin.

How do I check my voicemail?

You can check your voicemail by using the Webex desktop app, mobile app, or by calling the voicemail portal. You can access the voicemail portal by dialing your full phone number. As soon as the voicemail answers, press *, enter your PIN, and press #.

How do I check a department voicemail?

Department voicemail inboxes have been configured with an 8xxx extension that correlates to the department phone number. For example: if your department phone number is 5678, your department voicemail is 8678. To check your department voicemail messages, dial your department voicemail number and follow the prompts listed in the How do I check my voicemail section.
