St. Clair County Community College baseball players Josh Barnes and Joe Barrons were recently named Honorable Mention All-Michigan Community College Athletic Association Eastern Conference.
Barnes, a sophomore first baseman from St. Clair, finished the season with a .312 batting average and .442 on-base percentage. He hit one home run, had six doubles and drove in 18 runs in 26 games.
Barrons, a sophomore pitcher and infielder from Kingston, led the Skippers with 24 strikeouts on the season. He finished with a 3-6 record and a 4.80 earned-run average in 11 appearances.
