SC4 looks to ‘Fill the Fieldhouse’ for Dec. 9 basketball games

Zeke the Wonderdog and his friends visited SC4 during the 2016 basketball season.

St. Clair County Community College welcomes back Zeke the Wonderdog and his friends Saturday, Dec. 9, during its “Fill the Fieldhouse” basketball doubleheader.

Michigan State University’s famous frisbee-catching canine act will perform during halftime of the Skippers men’s and women’s basketball games against Muskegon CC. The women’s game begins at 1 p.m., followed by the men’s game at 3 p.m.

Zeke and his friends have been providing entertainment for the whole family since the 1970s, gaining notoriety with performances during Michigan State athletic events.

The excitement doesn’t end there, as throughout the day, $1,000 in prizes will be given away, including a Fitbit watch, an iPad mini 4, an iPod touch and Beats wireless headphones. The drawings are presented by the St. Clair County Community Foundation.

Special guest Shaun Muzzarelli, a Port Huron Northern sophomore, will sing the national anthem prior to both games.

As part of “Youth Sports Day,” children who wear their youth sports uniforms will receive free admission to the games.

General admission is $5, which covers both games, and SC4 students get in for free with their Skippers OneCard.
