St. Clair County Community College (SC4) is now accepting applications from students interested in living in the College’s student residence halls for the 2023-24 academic year.
SC4’s student residence halls, located on Huron Street and Bard Street, offer fully furnished units and amenities. They also provide students with easy access to campus and the area’s great dining and entertainment options, recreation and outdoor activities, and potential employment opportunities with local businesses.
“This is a great way for students to have a full college experience while not breaking the bank,” said SC4 Student Housing Manager Emily Fleischmann. “SC4 College Housing provides access to campus support and a built-in community of fellow students that help drive growth and success.”
In addition to enjoying convenient access to the area’s growing arts, entertainment and dining scene, students who live in SC4 residence halls pay in-district tuition rates at SC4.
During the 2022-23 academic year, students from the local community and around the nation chose to live on campus, including from 10 Michigan counties, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Missouri.
“My favorite aspect about living in housing is being able to meet new people from all around,” said student Morgan Fulgenti. “The campus here offers a lot of possibilities for you. Don’t be scared to take them. You will meet some lifelong friends and great professors. The local area has a great atmosphere and being right along the water, it is neat to see Canada right across from it.”
To be eligible to live in College Housing, students must meet ongoing academic and enrollment requirements. Those interested can find detailed information about College Housing and submit an application for the 2023-24 academic year at sc4.edu/housing.
