
Noon & Night Concert: Soprano/Opera

French soprano Mia Mandineau is rapidly gaining recognition for her exquisite voice, expressive artistry, and captivating stage presence. As a Resident Artist with Detroit Opera for the 2025–26 season, she will perform in The Handmaid’s Tale by Ruders and Apartment House 1776 by Cage, along with numerous concerts across the Detroit area.
Beyond her performance career, Ms. Mandineau is a passionate advocate for arts education. She is the founder of the successful YouTube channel L’Opéra et ses Zouz, which has partnered with prestigious institutions including the Opéra de Paris, Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Opéra National de Bordeaux, Detroit Opera, OperaVision, and national French radio and television.
Joining her is Nathalie Doucet, Head of Music and Director of the Resident Opera Program at Detroit Opera. With an impressive international career as a collaborative pianist and vocal coach, Ms. Doucet has worked with leading opera companies, singers, and conductors around the world. She previously held esteemed positions in Europe as Head Coach of Opera Studio Nederland and Principal Coach at the Dutch National Opera Academy. Her deep expertise and mentorship continue to shape the next generation of opera talent.
Concert times are at noon and 7 PM in the Fine Arts Theatre.
