Julianne Ankley is a Port Huron native, a multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter, and a visual artist. She’s received fifteen Detroit Music Awards, including Outstanding Country Album, Vocalist, Recording for the single “Why,” and Songwriter.
She’s appeared on several Detroit TV programs and often pays tribute to her home state and hometown. Her music video for “Ghost of the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse,” from the album With Love From Lake Huron, has over 19,000 views on YouTube. Julianne tours nationally as both a musician and speaker, and her latest single, “Polar Train,” was released on November 7.
