St. Clair County Community College and Siena Heights University have signed a 3+1 articulation agreement which will allow students to obtain a bachelor’s degree in business while studying at SC4 for the first three years.
A signing ceremony was held Wednesday, March 22, at SC4 to celebrate the agreement.
The agreement allows students studying accounting, business, management or marketing to complete an associate degree, as well as the first three years – or 87 credit hours – of their bachelor’s degree at SC4, and the final 33 credits at Siena Heights.
That final year can be completed online, at Siena Heights’ main campus in Adrian, or at one of Siena Heights’ Degree Completion Centers, one of which is located in Southfield, Michigan.
Siena Heights’ online-learning bachelor’s program is ranked No. 1 in the state of Michigan, and No. 24 in the country, by U.S. News and World Report.
“This agreement provides a tremendous opportunity for students at SC4 to obtain a bachelor’s degree from a great university while still experiencing the comfort of being near home and the cost savings at SC4,” SC4 Dean of Occupational Studies Julie Armstrong said. “We are excited to be partnering with such a great institution to benefit students.”
