Student clubs and organizations

Four SC4 students pet dog during Stress Breaker event.

Meet friends, connect with volunteer opportunities and find peers who share your passions. From drama to business, strategic gaming to health and wellness, at SC4 you’ll meet like-minded people who are also pursuing their hobbies and professional goals beyond the classroom.

Even if you’re not a member of a specific student club, there are campus-wide activities to participate in! Movie nights, our fun end-of-semester Stress Breaker event, the College Center game room and other club-sponsored activities make SC4 a complete college experience.

Each club is open to all students, has an appointed student leader and enjoys the support of a faculty or staff advisor. Don’t see something that suits your interests? Any student at SC4 can start a club or pick up where an old club or group left off.

Questions about how to get involved about starting a new club? Contact Aaron Buckley at ambuckley@sc4.edu. Clubs and organizations are listed below.

Engineering Technology students can get hands-on design and building experience by building a vehicle and competing at both the local and national levels.

Baja challenges engineering students to design and build an off-road vehicle that will survive the severe punishment of rough terrain and in some competitions, water. As in real work situations, these future engineers work together as a team to discover and resolve technical challenges in design, test, and manufacturing, as well as business issues. The most rugged of all the competitions, Baja SAE also gives students the first-hand challenge of pursuing their passion while managing real-life demands and priorities. Each team’s goal is to design and build a prototype of an all-weather, rugged, single-seat, off-road recreational vehicle intended for sale to the nonprofessional weekend off-road enthusiast.

Baja Club meets at the Sanilac Career Center; 175 E Aitken Rd, Peck, MI 48466
