Winter Break
- Saturday, Dec 14 – Saturday, Jan 11
Winter 2025
- Friday, Jan 3 – Housing students must have financial aid completed, enrolled in 12 credits/contacts, and a paid off balance with business office/Nelnet plan set up.
- Friday, Jan 10 – New student move-in.
- Monday, Jan. 13 – First day of classes.
- Friday, Jan. 17 – Last day of add/drop for W23 semester.
- Monday, Feb. 24 – Early alert grades Come out.
- Week of Feb 24 – Mid-semester RA room checks.
- Monday, Mar 3– Application for 2024-25 housing goes live (date may be subject to change).
- March 10 to 14 – Spring Break (no classes this week, limited front desk hours).
- Friday, March 14 – College is closed for Spring Break.
- Monday, March 17 – Classes resume.
- Monday, April 21 – Due date for extended stay requests — must be submitted to front desk or housing manager by 5 p.m.
- Thursday, May 1 – 24/7 Quiet hours begin — no overnight guests allowed through end of semester.
- Monday, May 5 – Finals begin.
- Friday, May 9 – Commencement.
- Saturday, May 10, noon – All residents required to move out by noon.
- Saturday, May 10, 1 p.m. – RA room checks.
Fall 2025
- Monday, July 14 – Last day for residents to cancel their Fall housing contract with full refund. A $500 cancellation fee will be applied for cancelled contracts after this date and prior to move-in.
- Monday, July 21 – Early move-in students must submit signed housing contract by noon (otherwise earliest move-in may be delayed).
- Monday, July 28 – Early Move-ins must have Financial Aid Completed, enrolled in 12 credits/contacts, and a paid off balance with business office/Nelnet plan set up (Otherwise delayed move-in).
- Wednesday, July 30, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Earliest move-in for approved early arrival students (international students and athletes with mandatory practices), Resident Assistants.
- Housing Orientations at 4 p.m. in housing commons.
- Monday, Aug. 11, noon – Last day to turn in signed housing contract to move in on time (otherwise resident move-in date may be delayed beyond normal move-in).
- Tuesday, Aug. 12 – Housing Check: Students must have Financial Aid Completed, enrolled in 12 credits/contacts, and a paid off balance with business office/Nelnet plan set up (Otherwise delayed move-in).
- Wednesday, Aug. 20, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Huron Street – Move-in day one.
- Thursday, Aug. 21, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Huron Street – Move-in day two.
- Friday, Aug. 22, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Bard Street – Move-in Day three.
- Small Group Orientations – 4 p.m. in Huron Street housing commons. RA welcome weekend activities afterwards.
- Friday, Aug. 15 – 7:30 p.m. – Welcome Event Night and Group Housing Photo.
- Monday, Aug. 25 – First day of classes.
- Monday, Oct. 6 – Contract Termination Request forms due for Graduation or Transfer School reasons.
- Week of Oct. 13 – Mid-semester RA room checks to be scheduled and performed this week. Notices to be provided to residents ahead of time.
- Thursday, Nov. 27 and Friday, Nov. 28 – Thanksgiving break (reduced front desk hours).
- Monday, Dec. 1 – Classes resume.
- Final Extended winter housing stay requests must be submitted.
- Housing Contract Termination forms due today, otherwise, all residents will be charged for second semester (for extenuating circumstances, email housing@sc4.edu).
- Friday, Dec. 12 – 24/7 quiet hours begin for finals — no overnight guests allowed through finals.
- Monday, Dec. 15 – First day of finals.
- Due date for new winter residents to have contract signed and submitted in order to move in on time, otherwise move-in may be delayed.
- Saturday, Dec. 20, noon – All non-winter housing residents and non-returners must be moved out.
- 1 p.m. – RA Room Checks.
