About SC4 Office of Information Technology
The Office of Information Technology connects you to the latest in online and computer technology. We’ve created a list of the basics to get you started at the college. The SC4 Office of Informational Technology provides the college community with information technology leadership, services, and support needed to achieve the college’s goals. Some of the services that our department provides are:

Connect to the SC4 Network
On your first day of employment, you should have an SC4 username. Your username should be in this format: First initial + middle initial + last name. For example, John William Smith’s username is jwsmith.
The Information Technology Department sets your initial password. Call or stop by Main Building Room 203, and we will reset and register your password for your initial access. Once your password is reset and registered, you may change your password at any time by using the password change option at sc4.edu/password.
SC4 uses DUO two-factor authentication to secure your data and help prevent stolen identities. You will receive an email from DUO, which will prompt you to register your account with a second authentication method, such as a phone app or text message. Once registered, DUO will only prompt you when off the SC4 network.
Never share your password with anyone. Sharing it could put your online identity at risk. You are responsible for everything that happens with your SC4 username. Check with the Helpdesk at Ext. 5615 if you need help with your SC4 username and password.
SC4 devices connect to the SC4 wireless network. You also may connect your devices to this network. Look for the network named “SC4.” Connect by logging in with your SC4 username and password. For instructions on connecting your mobile phone to the SC4 wireless network, go to sc4.edu/wireless.
Your SC4 email and Office 365
Along with your SC4 username, you will be granted an SC4 email address.

You can access your email easily through the Outlook web access at sc4.edu/portal and selecting College E-mail from the quick links or by clicking on the Outlook App icon on your computer’s desktop.
SC4 partners with Microsoft to offer all faculty, staff, and student the full Microsoft Office Suite., which includes popular applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook (email). To access these programs, you can log into the Office 365 portal at portal.office.com.
Multimedia Services
The Office of Information Technology supports all technology items within the classroom and office. This includes the workstation, projector, interactive display, sound, and specialized technology.
Voicemail
To set your voicemail pin, please go to https://settings.webex.com, and log in with your SC4 email and password. For detailed instructions, please go to https://sc4.edu/phone/.
To access your voicemail off campus, dial your phone number as soon as the voicemail answers, press *, enter your PIN and press #.
