In recognition of America 250 and in conjunction with SC4’s 2026 Naturalization Ceremony, the SC4 Theatre Club is proud to present the classic Broadway musical 1776.
Originally premiering during the United States Bicentennial celebration and commemorating the 200th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, 1776 remains one of the most beloved and enduring musicals in American theatre. This production celebrates both America250 and the 50th anniversary of the musical itself.
Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical, 1776 brings the founding of the United States to life through the story of the Founding Fathers and the historic signing of the Declaration of Independence. Blending sharp humor, compelling drama, and spirited patriotism, the musical offers a thoughtful and entertaining exploration of the people and debates that shaped a nation.
Performances will take place at the SC4 Fine Arts Theatre on Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19 at 7 PM. Admission is free and open to the public.
