Noon and Night Concert: Peter Bergin – Early American Popular Music / Ragtime
March 18, 2027 at 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Peter Bergin’s love for Early American Popular Music dates back to his formative years in Michigan. His mission is to bring joy to audiences through the rhythms and melodies of Early American Popular Music, especially ragtime, vintage American songs, and early patriotic favorites. Peter performs regularly at theaters and festivals across the country, including the Scott Joplin International Ragtime Festival, the West Coast Ragtime Festival, and Zehnder’s Ragtime Festival. He is also a Michigan Humanities Touring Artist and the founder and artistic director of The American Jamboree, a vintage variety show. Peter looks forward to sharing Early American Music with audiences everywhere as a celebration of America’s original popular music.
