The Carl Perkins Grant provides federal funding to states to improve both secondary and postsecondary career and technical education programs. SC4 has used funds from Carl Perkins Grant to purchase equipment to advance our Career and Technical programs such as Respiratory Therapy and Engineering Technology.

🎶Gather together with family and friends to celebrate the holidays through music.

SC4’s Symphonic and Jazz Band is set to perform a ‘A Winter Celebration’ concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, December 14, in SC4’s Fine Arts Theatre. The concert is free for students, faculty, staff and the community.

The SC4 band is directed by Erick Senkmajer.

Students from Instructor Cadey Korson's Earth Science class took an adventure to the Columbus County Park. During their field trip students used what they learned in class to identify glacial and river features in the park.

Park Naturalist, Kirsten Lyons, talked about the significance of the Belle River for freshwater mussels and how the protection of riverbanks plays a significant role in protecting their habitat. They looked at areas where erosion has occurred, discussed invasive species and how this park tries to find a balance between protecting biodiversity and human recreation.
