PORT HURON – St. Clair County Community College recently honored 150 students for work they completed and honors they received during the 2017-18 academic year.
“Our students, who come from cities across St. Clair County and beyond, are committed to their education and work hard throughout the year to achieve their goals,” said Chief Academic Officer and Vice President of Academic Services Julie Armstrong. “Our Student Recognition Ceremony provides an opportunity for the college and community to acknowledge their outstanding work and celebrate their achievements.”
Two faculty members also were honored at the ceremony; James A. Jones, professor of criminal justice, received the Del James Blessinger Full-Time Faculty Award, and Ryan P. Johnson, instructor of history, received the Del James Blessinger Adjunct Faculty Award.
