Advising
SC4 advisors are here to help as you pursue your academic goals and navigate college. Though not required, meeting with an advisor can help you better understand class selection, degree requirements and transfer planning. We encourage you to review the tips and resources provided on this page.
The college offers drop-in advising services; no appointment necessary. Students wanting to see an advisor are encouraged to visit the Welcome Center first floor lobby to sign in. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding posted holidays. Students are seen in the order they sign in.
Note: Students needing assistance with Academic Suspension or Third Attempt appeals for 2026 winter semester enrollment should email advising@sc4.edu with their request for assistance along with a phone number where they can be reached. An advisor will follow up with next steps.
