PORT HURON – Three exciting art exhibits will be displayed at St. Clair County Community College’s Spiral Gallery at Studio 1219 in Port Huron, Mich., this summer.
The first show is “Out of the Brown” presented by Mike Henry of Port Huron. This exhibit is a watercolor study in warm neutrals leading up to the center point of interest in varying pure colors. It is a pensive interpretation of Henry’s subject matter. This show is on display June 2 to 30, featuring a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 8.
“Around the Great Lakes,” presented by Mary Quintal of Port Huron, will be shown July 5 to 31. Quintal will present her watercolors and mixed water media pieces. They showcase her interpretation of the Great Lakes and the surrounding areas. Her reception is 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 13.
Katie Weatherly of St. Clair, Mich., will show “Botanical Boundaries” from August 4 to 30, which includes her original work, featuring photography and new media. The reception is 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 24.
“We are honored to show work from three talented
