The St. Clair County Community College (SC4) Skippers men’s basketball team wrapped up a successful regular season with a 22-6 record and are ready for the postseason. The Skippers were ranked #16 in America in the final National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) poll.
Fans are encouraged to cheer on the team Tuesday, March 5 at 7 p.m. as they take on Schoolcraft College in the first round of the NJCAA Great Lakes District C Tournament. All fans in attendance will receive free popcorn and bottled water as part of a Fan Appreciation night at the SC4 Fieldhouse.
A win for the Skippers will send them to the semi-finals on Friday, March 8 at 11 a.m. on the campus of Mott Community College in Flint. The championship finals will take place on Sunday, March 10 at 11:00 a.m. Tickets are available at the door for both games. Prices are $8 general admission, $5 for seniors and students, and children under 10 are free.
The winner will advance to the NJCAA National Championship Tournament March 18-23 in Danville, IL.
