Accounting students

PORT HURON – Students aiming to earn extra credits this summer at a fraction of the cost of a four-year institution can register for classes at St. Clair County Community College.

Courses that qualify for the Michigan Transfer Agreement are available, such as English composition, art appreciation, introduction to inorganic chemistry, history of western civilization, introduction to statistics, principles of sociology, speech communication, and others.

Introductory business classes, including accounting, management and marketing, also are being offered, as is an introduction to criminal justice, and microcomputer applications, a gateway class to most any computer information systems degree at the college.

Additionally, students looking to complete health science prerequisites, such as human anatomy and physiology, can benefit from summer courses.

Many of these classes are offered online.

Summer semesters begin Monday, May 14, and Monday, June 25. Students not currently enrolled can start the application process at www.sc4.edu/starthere to view the steps to enrollment and fill out a free online application.
