‘I am where I am today because of SC4’

“SC4 allowed me to stay focused on academics and helped to continue my baseball career. I appreciated the smaller class sizes because they created opportunities to make personal connections with the professors. The Men’s baseball team allowed me to travel the country and helped me identify where to go next after completing my two years. I am where I am today because of SC4.”

Brian Fowler, Yale Public Schools teacher and varsity baseball coach

‘SC4 is still the best thing going for this area’

“In 1968, SC4 provided me with my steppingstone to the future as it did for many others. Families did not have much money and typically we were the first in our generation to attend college. SC4 is still the best thing going for this area as demonstrated by its longevity in the community. It has continued to be the same steppingstone for many individuals as it was for me.”

Cindy Rourke, Retired Dean of Library and Academic Achievement Center, SC4
