The SC4 volleyball team secured a spot in the opening round of the NJCAA Tournament, which begins Thursday, Nov. 2, in the Fieldhouse.
Coach Ray Cornwell’s squad enjoyed a successful week in MCCAA Eastern Conference play with victories on the road over Macomb CC (3-1), Henry Ford College (3-0) and Alpena CC (3-0 and 3-0). The Skippers took a four-match winning streak into their league and regular-season finale Tuesday, Oct. 24, at Oakland CC.
SC4, which holds down third place in the Eastern Conference standings, is scheduled to open the District E Tournament at 2 p.m. against either Macomb CC or Henry Ford.
The District E and F tournaments run from Nov. 2 through Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Fieldhouse, with the winners moving onto the NJCAA Division II Tournament in Charleston, West Virginia.
