Blue Water Middle College Academy (BWMCA)
Earn a high school diploma and an associate’s degree by attending school for just one extra year!
The Blue Water Middle College (BWMC) is chartered by the St. Clair County Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA) and reflects a unique partnership between the RESA, St. Clair County Community College and five county school districts: Algonac, Capac, Memphis, Port Huron and Yale.
As a BWMC student, you’ll take high school courses at one of the partnering high schools and college courses at SC4. In doing so, you’ll become a BWMC student but are still able to play sports and participate in normal extracurricular activities at your local high school through agreements between the middle college and the local districts.
College tuition is paid for by BWMC. Applications are due in the spring of your sophomore year.
More than half of every cohort goes on to study at a four-year college or university.
